The lads have fought hard all season and now it has paid off – 5 of the 8 competitive senior/junior sides have made the finals, with 4 sitting on top of the ladder after the home/away season!

Juniors finals kicked off last Friday night amidst the rain on the radar, with the U18s going down against a tough Mernda side – Mernda put on a total of 133 off their 20 overs, with the Doggies replying with 87 from their 20. They’ll go on to a Prelim Final this Friday night at Loyola Reserve.

The U14s continued a strong home/away season with a win over the 1st placed Macleod. Batting first, the Doggies scored 108 off their 20 overs and were able to steamroll Macleod for 46 off 16 overs! This means that the U14s will go straight to the Grand Final on Friday 18th March!

On the seniors side, Money Shield / F2 Grade / G3 Grade were able to cement top spot on the ladder and secure a home semi-final against the 2nd placed sides, with the winner to go on to the Grand Final and the loser to go to a Prelim either Sunday or the following Saturday.
